Our business statement
Arbor recognises that it has a responsibility to the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral part of our business strategy and operating methods, with regular review points.
Our ambition statement
We are committed to actions that will help us to continually reduce our emissions, to better support our clients’ own commitments and their supplier codes of conduct.
Responsibility
Arbor’s Directors are responsible for ensuring that the environmental policy is implemented. However, all employees have a responsibility in their area to ensure that the aims and objectives of the policy are met. We take steps both internally and externally to show our commitment to reducing our environmental impact. A summary of our actions is available on request.
Environmental Management System
We are committed to managing our environmental efforts through a proactive management system, appropriate to the size and structure of our business, our location, and the nature of the goods and services we provide. To do this, we make use of the following ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management templates and guidance:
Environmental Manual and Environmental Management System Guidance: these documents help Arbor to develop, deploy and communicate an ISO 14001:2015 EMS, including organisational context, leadership and governance, management system planning, operational guidance, and performance evaluation and improvement.
Environmental Procedure: Control of Environmental Aspects & Impacts: this document helps Arbor to define process inputs, activities and outputs, and includes process maps to define the sequence of operations.
EMS Internal Audit Guidance and Audit Checklist: System & Process Compliance Auditing: this document contains an EMS tracker that helps Arbor to record and present audit findings, including non-conformance and corrective action logs.
